What This Extension Does

Tunnel Vision for YouTube modifies the YouTube website locally in your browser to hide algorithmic recommendations, Shorts, and other distracting elements. All processing happens entirely on your device.

Data We Do NOT Collect

✕ Browsing history
✕ Video watch history
✕ Search queries
✕ Personal information
✕ Analytics or usage data
✕ Device fingerprints
✕ IP addresses

Data Stored Locally

The extension stores the following data only on your device using Chrome's storage API:

Settings: Your preferences for which elements to hide
License data: If you purchased Pro, a hashed version of your license key
Schedule configuration: Your focus mode schedule (Pro feature)
Pause state: When focus mode is temporarily paused

This data is synced across your Chrome browsers via Google if you are signed in, but never sent to our servers for storage.
